Playin’TV games now available on Internet connected televisions!

Paris, 8th September 2009 – Visiware, leading worldwide publisher of games for pay television, announces the launch of its Playin’TV games on Internet connected television sets.

Visiware expands its presence by now distributing games from its catalogue on Internet connected televisions. Homes equipped with such devices will now be able to surf the Internet and access Playin’TV online service through their television set, thanks to the remote control and a simple Internet connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi).

Within the framework of its new activity, Visiware collaborates with Philips, global leader in lifestyle and technology, and adapts part of its game catalogue on the 8000, 9000, and Cinema 21:9 TV models. Three games – Twin Match Ocean, Solitaire Club and Tactic 2 Vitamin – are now available for free on Philips’ “Net TV” portal in France and Germany. Adapted in French, English, German and Dutch languages, those games will be progressively distributed to the rest of the world.

Developed in CE-HTML (HTML and JavaScript) and thanks to the high resolution provided by those televisions, Playin’TV games will offer improved game screens, taking the user’s gaming experience to a higher level.
